Tax Calculator Documentation
Understanding how your salary is calculated.
Tax Brackets (IRI)
The Impôt sur le Revenu Individuel (IRI) is a progressive tax on your annual income. This means you pay different rates on different portions of your salary. The more you earn, the higher the rate on the additional income.
| Annual Income Range (HTG) | Tax Rate |
|---|---|
| 0 - 60,000 | 0% |
| 60,001 - 240,000 | 10% |
| 240,001 - 480,000 | 15% |
| 480,001 - 1,000,000 | 25% |
| 1,000,001+ | 30% |
* Rates are applied marginally. For example, if you earn 100,000 HTG, the first 60,000 is tax-free, and only the remaining 40,000 is taxed at 10%.

- The amount is typically equal to one month's salary (or 1/12th of annual earnings).
- This bonus is taxable and is added to your annual income when calculating IRI.
